To move objects, first make sure you are in object edit mode 
     (select the cube icon in the toolbar).



     Next, select the movement tool, and then the object(s) 
     you want to move.

     Select the directions you want to move the object in (X,Y,Z).
     Most of the time you can keep them all selected (allowing
     free movement), but sometimes when you want more precision
     movement, you might only want to select one or two of these
     planes. For example if you only want to move up and down (on the
     Y axis) you would make sure only Y is selected.

     Finally, drag the mouse inside the edit window to move the object.
